This was honestly very strange... I had a lot of trouble following what was going on for sure, but i think it is sort of about this house and its history through time, the families who lived their the things that took place in the house, even before the house was built, and after the house burns down.

I also found a youtube video of a short film made on the comic an that helped to understand better

A Duck;s Eye View

I am a hugee fan of anything Disney, total Disney nerd so i was excited to see donald duck haha. It was also interesting to be told about the artists not being allowed to originally say he was the artist.

I found the story entertaining, i have a very childish sense of entertainment and enjoy childish cartoons . I was wondering is this comic originally in color? because i keep finding google images of the frames in color.

This comic could have been used as an example for my chapter 4 presentation it has the typical motion lines and sound effects to show time passing.

My Group Presentation

... I hate presenting.... We took the outline for the presentation and split it amongst the group and each person got one section. i got section 4 which was comparing the chapter to examples from a comic in Best American Comics. i chose mammology and so did other people in my group. It had many examples from chapter 4 that worked well, like the typical motion lines, and sounds to show time passing

Presentation Group 2

I think group two did a great job presenting on the chapter. Drawing out the triangle and using class interaction to answer questions created a greater understanding of the chapter. They were clear and gave many examples to explain the main points of the chapter, and utilized examples outside of the required books in class, using subjects people may be more familiar with.

The Best American Comics 2008: Cupids Day Off.

Cupids Day off:

This comic has varying panels on each page all of which are rectangular though with the exception of the second page where the large rectangle is split into 3 sections.

This appears to me as the expected comic style the average person would think of when they hear comic. Its colorful, funny, and cartoony.

Not all the panels are written words, and many have words to represent sounds.

I like the bright vivid colors and playfulness of the style the creator uses. I personally find it easier to follow, see, and understand the simple cartoony comics, this may be do to my personal visual situation.

The story was comical and the ending was hilarious. It contained shock value with in the story to go along with the comedy and draw attention.
